Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Kyra, an illustrator and designer with a love for visual storytelling through bold, character-focused art. I received a BA in Psychology with a minor in Digital Arts & Media from The University of Texas at Austin in 2025 and have illustrated for several special edition books throughout the past 3 years.

My absolute favorite part of creating is immersing myself in a story. When I draw, I feel the character's emotions and temporarily fall into their world. I find it exhilarating when I feel I've truly captured the essence of a narrative. I think this is why I gravitate towards drawing for books—they contain rich stories with limitless opportunity for visual interpretation.

When I’m not drawing, I’m usually reading, running, becoming obsessed with a new piece of media, or hugging my cat.
